COVID-19 Policy

The health and safety of our athletes, coaches, volunteers, and families remain our highest priority. According to the CDC, our region is currently rated a HIGH community transmission rate.  We ask that all families and players please adhere to the following guidelines when at the RHSC Fields or away fields.

COVID-19 Guidelines:

  • We are encouraging all family units to social distance at approx. 6' apart

  • All parents should take the kids' temperature and note any signs of illness before leaving their house and entering the fields.

  • DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO PRACTICE AND/OR A GAME IF THEY HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING SYMPTOMS OR ARE NOT FEELING WELL:

    • Fever or chills

    • Cough

    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

    • Fatigue

    • Muscle or body aches

    • Headache

    • New loss of taste or smell

    • Sore throat

    • Congestion or runny nose

    • Nausea or vomiting

    • Diarrhea

*if a parent/guardian have any COVID-19 symptoms or is not feeling well, please send your child with another parent/guardian .

  • Mask are optional while at the outdoor RHSC Fields but please be respectful of those around you

  • Please report any positive COVID cases to RHSC by email president@redhooksoccer.com

TRAVEL LEAGUE- EHYSL 

RHSC Travel program is a member of the East Hudson Youth Soccer League and thus has to follow the guidelines of East Hudson Youth Soccer League. The following information/guidelines was received by the league in regards to the travel division.

 

  • While a majority of people are vaccinated we still face people getting sick. EHYSL receives guidance from the State Level and we must follow their guidance. With our season only a week away EHYSL COVID Policy is as follows : 

 

  • Wearing of masks outdoors while participating in an EHYSL sanctioned event is OPTIONAL. However social distancing of 3 or more feet is required.  

 

  • We will continue with spectators being 6 or more feet off the line of play at all times. We will also continue with teams being on the opposite side of the field. Home Spectators will remain on the side of their team and Visitor spectators remain on their team side. 

 

  • If playing on a school field, all players, coaches and spectators will follow that School District COVID rules. 

 

  • INDOOR SOCCER: at all indoor soccer events, MASKS are Required at all times regardless of vaccination status. Players and Refs are not required to wear masks while on the field actively engaged in soccer. 

 

Also please continue to use EHYSL website form to report any COVID exposure or positive test.
