2026-2027 Travel Tryouts
Tryouts for the 2026-2027 will be announced in the spring.
*New* players need to be registered in order to participate. There is no cost to try out.

Our Travel program begins at U9 and goes through U19. Please note in rare cases some younger athletes with special permission would be allowed to play. If you feel you may be someone in this special situation first reach out to your current coach. The teams we field for 2025-2026 will be determined following tryouts and will depend on the amount of participation we get in each age group. We may not be able to cover every age group, but we will do our best to find or create opportunities for everyone that wants to play. You do not need to live in Red Hook to join Red Hook Soccer Club. We encourage anyone in the region to become part of our club!

Notes on Travel Soccer Costs:
- Each player needs a full uniform kit including jerseys, socks, and shorts. The cost is approximately $110 and is in addition to the registration.

- Registration is $400 for the full 2025-26 season; HOWEVER, when families commit to contributing volunteer time to the club (as has always been an expectation), they can apply a $50 volunteer discount at checkout. See further explanation below.
​
- Financial assistance is available for the travel program. If financial considerations present a significant barrier to participation, families can choose the financial assistance option to receive a 50% discount on registration fees. If that would still presents a significant barrier, families can email vptravel@redhooksoccer.com to request further assistance.

Date and time TBD at Nansen Fields at Brookmeade. This tryout session will be held together with the Rhinebeck travel team.
There is no cost to try out, and current travel players do not need to register.

About Travel Season & Practices
​
The Travel season begins in late-August and runs through mid-June, including weekly practice from December through March in a climate-controlled indoor soccer facility. Typically teams practice twice a week for 60-90 minuets at our Rockefeller Lane fields during the fall and spring, plus indoor practice once a week for 90 minutes at an indoor facility during winter months from approx. December - March. Most of our teams play in the Hudson Valley Youth Soccer League, which schedules games for its fall and spring seasons on Sundays. Teams typically play 8-10 games each season, but only half of those require travel. There is always a lot of camaraderie in cooperation among team families sharing rides and providing support to each other and all the players.
